Daleli
Design and implementation
What it is
Daleli is an Arabic-first business profile and searchable catalog for social sellers. Customers browse products on a storefront and continue the conversation through WhatsApp rather than an in-app checkout. The work targets merchants who sell through social channels and need a structured catalog without committing to full e-commerce upfront.
The problem
Social sellers in Gaza often manage product lists, prices, and customer questions across chat threads and informal notes. They need branch-scoped profiles, a browsable storefront, and a reliable handoff to WhatsApp when a customer wants to order.
What I worked on
- Defined branch-scoped business profiles for multi-tenant seller catalogs.
- Planned merchant subdomains and an Arabic storefront experience.
- Designed product, variant, category, and collection structures for catalog browsing.
- Worked on bulk CSV and XLSX import and export flows, including import-correction handling.
- Added availability states, storefront announcements, and safe store customization boundaries.
- Built migration and seed workflows plus local service orchestration for development.
- Ran dependency and contract checks before integration work.
- Implemented the DAL-MVP-000 production foundation; catalog UI and full storefront behavior are the next bounded slices.
